rubbing and squeeking noise from front wheel
The front wheel on the drivers side is rubbing and squeeling .sounds pretty bad.really bad when i have to stop.some days it seems its not there.i also found out when i have to back up the noise is gone for a while.anyone have any ideas what this could be.my son replaced the brake pads on the front.and the rotor.its on a 2004 ranger fx4 4x4

the older type of wheel bearing usually squeak when they are worn out
HENCE!! quality grease injected during manufacturing process
the newer types of bearing usually groan when they are worn out ,, less quality of grease
ford had been plagued with cheap chinese bearings that were boxed as genuine motorcraft bearings
also point being that the fuel tank and weight of the driver wear out driver side bearings quicker than the passenger side bearings
