suspention lift question

suspention lift question

hello,
i have a 96 ford ranger super cab 4x4 with a 4 in rough country lift and i recently put explo leafs in the back. can i put 6 inch lift coils in the front to level it back out without changing any other parts? other then realignment.

Depending on the drop brackets for the TTB, you might do it.
Two ways to approach this, one is do it and see, the other, my way, would be contact Rough Country and see if the drop brackets are the same for each kit.
If the brackets are the same and then it would be a go.

The problem will be with the increase drop the angle of the tire and wheel get more in at the bottom.
Can the 4” bracket accommodate this, if not then new brackets are needed but some kit come with extra holes in the brackets to be used for either 4” or 6” lift so check your bracket and see if the holes are there and what position they are in in reference to the 4” mounting position.

luck to ya, my sky jacker kit for my ’88 had both sets of holes.

could different camber bolts solve the issue if i dont have the other holes
