I cranked my torsion bars on my truck at about twenty thosand miles. Now I have fifty thousand and my truck is just fine. I had my front end aligned right afterward I cranked the torsion bars and my tires wore out like they were suppose to. Now I am on my second set of mudders and they are wearing fine. I think the torsion bar crank is well worth it, especially being able to fit 285/75/16 mudders.

OK now I have 93k miles on my truck...the first week I had it i dropped off my exploding tires and put on 32's with the crank... I rode around like that for a year and a half just fine. After that I lowered my truck doing a complete suspension swap...talk about puttins stress on the balljoints...you have no idea. I now for 6 months have had 3 inch spindles on my truck running 35's and cranked bars...I think for the first time in almost what will be 5 years I heard a slight pop when I hit a nice sized pot hole. I have beat up this truck off roading and when I slammed it. I won't complain at all...I think you will be fine with your crank.

I have my 05 edge up 4" by the tortion bars with some help of longer bolts and i have had no problems with it. i havent even done an alignment and my tires ar wearing right but i do rotate them every 6-7,000 miles though. and i have had it this way since about 1 week after i bought the truck about 11,000 miles ago and still no problems. Alright!

Beleave it or not the ride it about the same as a 1 1/2" twist. of course i had to get diffrent front shocks also because i keep on botteming the stock ones out. and all i did was went to napa and bought some longer bolts without the rounder tip but it had no threade on the tip so i just grinded it round. but i havent had any problems yet and i am bout at 11,000 miles on the 4".
