Upper Balljoint and Control Arm ?'s
Upper Balljoint and Control Arm ?'s
OK I've looked and looked and still haven't found an answer.
On my 99 the passanger side upper control arm comes with that 2 piece design.
And the drivers side comes with the one piece design.
I notice in this thread:
https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...r+Control+Arms
that the statement was made of how the passanger side upper control arm (2 piece design) MOOG replacement (part # K8710T)

Is discontinued and your referred to the 2003 1 piece design, Moog replacement (part # K80068)

Now my question is, the original control arm that came on the truck OR style in the first picture has those 2 alignment bolts on either side that in my opinion only adjust's the tire fore and aft....the new style control army doesn't have these....sooo ummmm why not? Did I get the right one's? I got the 1 piece design control arms for DS and PS. Any help guys....

what are control arms?
No idea, I never really got why ford did a 2 piece design to adjust caster on only one side. I would think you should be fine as long as the numbers come out good when you get an alignment.

because normally you put less caster in the passenger side than the drivers. makes up for the slope in the road.
