Feelin cheap...
Well, I've been thinking about getting sway bar quick disconnects for the front sway bar. Kinda short on money between paying for school and not working right now. A problem arose though. It hardly ever happens but when I turn the wheel to full lock, I could feel my tires rubbing on something. Well, after cleaning up the front end a bit I noticed that it's the front sway bar. I haven't seen it in action due to the fact that I won't let anyone else drive it =] I'm 99% sure though. The sway bar is all b1tched up right where the top of the tires are. I know Griggs doesn't run one and says it's not too bad but I just don't know about those 2wd guys.
Seriously, how bad is the handling with it removed? I'd like to know before I remove it and find out that it absolutely sucks. I never ever take my truck over 80mph and would be willing to sacrifice another 10mph if needed. The front end is really limited on travel due to the sway bar as well. Let me know about your experiences with driving city/highway w/o a front sway bar. Keep in mind I do have the RCD coilovers up front which stiffen out the front, which I would assume would be best removing the front sway bar. Thanks guys!

I took mine off 2 days ago. When you first take it for a spin you will notice a huge difference in the body roll, but at the same time your truck will ride much smoother. After 2 days of driving without the bar it already feels normal. I say you take it off and drive it for a day or two and see how you like it but take it easy! It takes less than 15 minutes to remove or install so its not hard to put it back on if you want. I did get up to 80 on the highway and I didnt notice a huge difference but I imagine you would notice a pretty big difference if it is windy outside.
Seriously the ride quality is nice, but don't get stupid while cornering. If you drive like a grandpa you'll be fine, but driving with no front sway bar isnt for everyone......

I use disconnects for off road but I can't stand how my Ranger handles on pavement without the sway bar. I often hear owners say that it has a lot of body roll without the bar so you just have to take it easy. Good luck to anyone who faces a real world emergency pavement maneuver without one.

I took it off and did some laps around the country. Went around some windy roads with it off. I kinda like it. The front end is alot mooshier. If that makes sense. It just feels very soft and you can feel the body pull. I took the corners at my normal speed and did just fine. Once I tighten the coil-overs a bit, I think the ride will stiffen up to where it almost was. Gotta rent a coil compressor though first. =\
