Wheel spindle

I'm not very good at these things and was hoping someone could help, I noticed today that on the back side of my front passenger tire, the wheel spindle I do believe has grease and what feels like little pieces of rubber or maybe just dirt all over it but the drivers side is clean, is this something I should be worried about or is that normal, truck drives fine was just curious why one side would be so dirty, it's a 2011 ranger XLT 4.0

Those are upper ball joints.

The one on the passenger side has been replaced, it has a grease fitting and has been slightly over greased, nothing to worry about.

Factory ball joints didn't have grease fittings

+ Too much grease can also rupture the ball joint boot and that can lead to damage of the ball joint as it will introduce dust and dirt .
