xlt arms on an 2wd edge?

I've been thinking alot lately on how I'm going to lower my edge and was wondering if it is possible to just use xlt control arms and stick them right on the edge. I don't think I've ever seen a picture of stock xlt suspension, so I have no idea if this is even possible. What I am really wanting to do it find a shop that can make me a custom set of lowered control arms with coil-over shocks. For the rear I would just flip the leafs etc.

Anyone have pics and info on this....i know the lowering the edge discussion has been beaten to death already...I Ive seen edgerat's truck already ect etc. I just wanted some fresh idea's about this.

edit: http://www.illusivefabrications.com/...index&cPath=21

would any of that stuff bolt on...even if i had to do a little modding to get it to work that would be fine

The mounting points for the lower arm and rack and pinion are different also, and the spindles are shorter on the xlt vs. the edge 4x2.

I only know of two people with coil-overs, they both did a nice install and neither of them told me about any problems

it just takes time and money
