Will lift kit work?

I have a 2004 Ranger 4x4 Edge and was wondering if the 5" RCD lift would work on my vehicle. I called them and they said as long as I had 11.25 Diameter Rotors it would work. Also I cant have a pulse vacumm hub. So i guess my real question is what is a pulse vacumm hub for the 4x4 and how do i know if i have one.

you dont have pulse vacuum hubs, and you have too big of rotors, since you have the bigger rotors you can buy 01-02 rotors which are the smaller size and just swap them, that is the way i understand it anyway.

so many people that I talked to about a lift told me totally different things. Basically if you REALLy want it...just order it or go have it put on. Trust me, its worth the money..

he was asking aobut RCD, but the superlift doesnt require any changes, like the brakes.

The RCD is WAY different than a superlift. Just buy some upgraded 01-03 rotors (slotted or drilled since we will be getting bigger tires), some pads, steel braided brake hose line (if RCD kit doesn't have one), and of corse the RCD lift kit.

carefull on which 03 rotors you buy, they changed the size halfway through so i would buy 01-02 to be safe.

incorrect!

in 2003 there is a split in what size rotors they came with.
2001-mid 2003 is a 11.25 inch rotor.
mid 2003 - current is a 12 inch rotor.

if you have a 2003 ranger messure your rotor, if its 12 inchs you need to buy 11.25 inch rotors for it. if you already have 11.25 inch rotors you do not need to buy them if you are going for the RCD lift kit.

Edit: I believe Build Date March of 2003 is the split month. But either way, if your an 2003 messure your rotors.

My 04 Edge has the 11" rotors. I believe only the small XL Rangers had 10"...

10"?
There were 11.25 and 12" rotors on the 03's as Jared said and 12" on the 04's.
