will a spindle lift alone allow 35s?

I have an 05 edge 4X2, I would like to put 35's on it. Will a 3 or 3.5 spindle lift allow 35's without losing to much turning radius or gain excessive rubbing? what manufacturer would you recommend? and should I purchase anything along with this to keep from harming my baby in any way?

You can fit 35s with a spindle lift and t-bar cranked but you won't be able to flex much if at all. Roach2004 has been running that combo for a while now and he loves it. If you stay on the street mostly it will work fine for you. Fabtech makes a good spindle kit for the Edges

I'm running 35s with a spindle lift, I would suggest fiberglass fenders for full turning radius and no rubbing.

The 5.5 spindles are for lifting the coil sprung 2wds, not the 2wds with torsion bars. I wasn't trying to be a grammer **** btw, it just makes it easier when people can actually understand what your saying.

They have a 5.5 lift for coil rangers. I seriously doubt they will make spindles that yield 5.5" by themselves though.

As for the original question, you'll probably be alright with spindles and a t-bar crank, but take into consideration that you'll probably have to do some trimming, especially if you have fender flares.

i know they make a 5.5 lift for the 2wd xlts that is 2.5 coils upper control arms and 3in spindles ect..

my point was that they are making a 5.5 SPINDLE LIFT alone... for the 2wd xlt's

They have already made 5.5 SPINDLE LIFT for the 2wd EDGE rangers. you wont find these at just any web site they are more of a special order thing ask your local shop about them or call fabtech and ask about them

5.5" spindles....hmmm......no.

Fabtech 2wd COIL SPRUNG kit consists of 3.5" spindles and 2" springs(or vice vesa)....... = 5.5".

Correct me if i'm wrong, but this isn't a coil sping thread now is it?

Edit: Fabtech Torsion bar 2wd consists of 3" Spindle. Fabtech 5.5" Coil 2wd consists of 2.5" coil and upper arm with 3" spindle.

Not a coil spring thread...

But.... FABTECH has 5.5 SPINDLES.. for torsion bar suspension rangers a.k.a the EDGE...
im not trying to wage a war with yall about this

i know fabtech makes a 5.5 ULTIMATE LIFT for the coil sprung ranger..

my point is they are in the process of CREATING alone a 5.5in lift Spindle for the 2wd coil sprung ranger

There is not enough room on the spindle to move the snout down that much without running into bigger problems such as caliper placement and the LCA and steering stops getting in the way. The only solution for that would be extended spindles and drop bracketry, which could be a possibility. But a spindle alone......nope.

I know camburg makes a suspension lift thats 5.5, but fabtech does not make a spindle lift 5.5 that would be insane on everything, maybe your thinking of the fabtech suspension lift?

You sure he didn't add the 2" tbar crank to that 3.5 spindle to get 5.5"? there was a guy on here running 39.5s with 3.5" spindles, tbar crank, and body lift.

I have a lot of room...my bars are all the way up and I have the stiff "f" bars. So...I wouldn't doubt that your buddy is mistaken...although I wish there really was a 5" spindle!
