??Lowering Kit - Yes for my truck

Well I have decided to do a 2/3 drop and need to know what all is involved. Links to best for the money please. I know I said i'd never do it but I saw one today and my wife and I were like wow lets price it out and go from there. I have 2 friends that are going to help me install it and I am not interested in having it bagged. So please educate me but don't insult me please

ewe...you have a mazda. YUCK!!

lol.

IT'S EASY!!!

Did the 4/5 on the little brothers truck. more compenents, i know....but dude...you can do this. Getting the leafs back in proved to be kind of a pain....you probably don't even need to completely pop off the spindle entirely.

I saw your brothers truck over on rps Im definitely digging it..

and Im running 235/45/17 on my truck and nowhere close to rubbing and long as u keep the tire diameter under 26 inches you wont rub at all or come close.

its prob the diamter of the tire I rubbed horrible with a 4/5 and stock 225/70/15 Watch out if you rubbing there is a screw to the battery box on the driver side under the plastic if you rub through the plastic inner fender and will expose that and will eat your tire.

you only have 2 inch coils right?

Im on belltech 3 inch coils and djm upper and lowers with 235/45/17 not sure on the width fo the rims they are not to wide but im not close to rubbing maybe 1/2 inch from it..

Yup....I have been searching and searching for some good Crown Vic 16" steelies for it. Got outbid on ebay for brand new ones. He's kinda going for the police interceptor look....the cobras don't really help that.....but it still looks killer. Standing next to it it's so short. too used to my truck. Somewhere on RPS, there's a photoshop of his truck painted like a police car. If i do get another ranger...similar to his....98-00, itll be similarly set up, but it'll have the 16" P71 wheels on it.

Oh yea...found out they are 245/45r17.

personally dismount the tires on the cobra's and get them powder coated semi gloss black and put them back on and then paint the bumpers/valance

STILL trying to get him to do that. EDGE valence though. He doesn't really want to touch the truck anymore, unfortunately.

Kit will be ordered the Friday after Christmas when I get my money to do so. Going with the one Zach posted but ordering through a friends shop where I get it for cost and pay them to install it along with Crank Pulley I got from Wayne, plus I am ordering the other pulley's to complete the package. I am also looking into having a custom rear rollpan done and a few other goodies to be mentioned later

If you can get them at cost why not go ahead with the 4/5 kit?
