need help with t bar fast!!!!

im changing my t bar atm, and i just ran into a problem, i cant find out which end of the bar goes to the front and which goes to the back...
can anyone help? does it even matter which end goes where?

For whatever it's worth, the identification tags on both of my T-bars are on the front.

^^ exactly, the side closest the the tag goes up front.

k i figured it out , but came to find out that my new bar is 1 inch longer than the stock one......wth

They are different lengths. I want to say the left one is shorter than the right one

on chevy torsion bars there is an arrow that points towards the front.. and labels L/R atleast a few i took off when puttin on a lift were label.
check for any markings

there is a shoulder on the key end of the bar.

left and right are different lengths.
