1998 ranger 4x4 3.0 lit v6 5spd - will 31's fit no lift?>??

hey i have a 1998 ranger 4x4 3.0 lit v6 5spd stock, and i need new tires, i want 31's because i plan on doing a 3inch body lift, but i am planning on buying tires first...will the 31's fit in with no rubbing until i get the lift? i dont want to pass up this deal i can get these brand new tires, a set of four for 250$ brand new Cooper ATR and this is the lift, i think im getting Summit SUM-7888300 - Summit® 7800000 Body Lift Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com please let me know what you think, i really appreciate it !!!

yes 31's will fit fine but if you do the body lift you might want to upgrade to 33's

31's fit stock and I think they look small on our trucks. If you do the body lift get 33's.

31's look small to me even with no lift. 32x11.50's on 15x8's look PERFECT on a stock truck with just some torsion crank. Shoot...you can run 33x10.50 with just some crank on your stock wheels.

Since you're thinking about bodylift, I think 32's look small on a BL'd truck....get 33x12.50's or 33x10.50's.

Depends on the gearing the truck has.

My 2002 3.0L with a torsion crank handled them just fine with 4.10 gears.

Mine is the yellow with 33's and the blue one has 32's, both with torsions cranked up all the way. These pictures were taken almost 7 years ago.
