255/70/16 tire on 1987 ranger 4x4

255/70/16 tire on 1987 ranger 4x4

Hi I'm new to the forums and want to know if someone can tell me if I can run 255/70/16 on my 1987 Ranger 4x4. The 16 " rim is 5 x 4.5 .currently running a 235/75/15 .wanna know if I will be rubbing or have any issues.
Thanks You I hope to be set st8 on this issue once and for all as I cant get a solid answer no where.

here's the deal. I put 255/60r15 on my ranger 2wd. its a 1993. I know that isn't as tall of a tire but it is the same width. I used a wheel with -19mm offset to give it a "deep dish" look and it doesnt rub at full lock. It raised the truck up maybe a half inch. I know you're probably going for an offroad look but I wanted a "muscle" look and this pulls it off well.
