30"-32"?

Okay so I have 15 inch rims(stock explorer rims) and I know I can defiantly fit 30x9.5 tires, but I wanna see if i can get 32X9.5 but I don't know if it will fit on my truck, is there anyway I can measure the wheel well or something to see if they'll work?

check out the rims and tires section there is a sticky there on sizes you can clear. Maybe that size will fit but why not go wider?

because they are stock explorer rims and I don't have money for new rims and I'm not sure if they are 7 inch wide or 8 inch wide and I'm not sure how much wider I can go, I was asking here because I have a highrider STX so its like a 2 inch lift I think

also the charts go back to '93 and I have a '91

A 32x9.5 will fit on the rims but not on the truck. You would probably need an additional 3" of lift to fit 32's on a second gen.

even on a highrider stx?

30x9.5 will work right, also how much difference would 30's vs. 32's be in the off road department?

A few extra inches of ground clearance and a little bigger foot print. 31's is a basic off road tire and is pretty balanced on and off road. I have 31s so I might be biased but I can clear 32s with no problem but chose 31s.

Also I forgot, 7in rims and 31s will be ok. I have 8s but most 31s call for atleast a 7in rim. I think 32s call for a 8. I know its usually 4inches allowed between rim and tire dia difference.
