anyone have their truck on 31's with wheels that have 3.75 backspacing? i wanna see how much they stick out. or if they even do

How low could i go with the backspacing and keep stress levels down on things. ive read most people seem to say 3.75in. is about as far as you should go before you start putting more strain on stuff. Will i be okay with 3.5in.?
