Okay, I'm thinking of ordering some 32 x 11.5 x 15 BFG A/T & MT Classic II wheels and cranking my t-bars to accommodate the tires.

So, those of you who have this setup, how do you like it? Do you have any regrets? How's the ride quality? Happy with the look?

If you wish to include any pictures of your setup that would be great too!


EDIT: I am mainly asking about that particular tire size (32 x 11.5 x 15 BFG ) on an edge with cranked torsion bars I appreciate the responses from the others, but I have read lots of good things about BFG and I am not concerned with the BFG brand in general, just I know a lot of members have the 32 x 11.5 x 15 BFG A/T setup, so I was looking to get feedback from those particular members. Sorry for any confusion.

 

i have 32x11.5 on alcoa wheels i love them for a daily drive i wouldnt buy any other tire.... summitracing, to do your ordering

I have exactly what you're looking to get and you will not regret it. It's the best thing I I've done for my truck so far, in my opinion. Ride quality is not a problem. I ordered mine through Summit, found a cheaper price on tirepackage but when you call them they will match or beat the price. Shipping is super fast and excellent customer service.

I like the wheels, but wouldn't buy them because so many people have them, but the tires are good except in the mud, there they suck!

I love the tires for the road...offroading, well taht is a different story.

I can't stand them for offroad, I refuse to go in my truck unless it's a dirt road (Then again, 2wd doesn't help) hahaha

Thats a joke btw, I liek the tires, just not how they offroad.

 

I have that exact set-up, with T-bar crank and no lift. I am more than happy with this tire/rim set-up. The tires are great on the road and in the sand, They hold their own in light mud. The ride quality with the bfg at's is awesome, smooth and quiet (at least compared to the stock wrangler rts's).
As for the rims, I like those as much as i do the tires, They look good and it takes very little maintenance/cleaning to keep them that way.

i have 32x11.5 i like it but the road noise is terrible...im actually thinkingabout downsizing since the noise is so annoying

 

i have 32 11.5 15 mud terrains and they do good on and off road

 

what tires besides size there? size isnt so much as of the tread pattern my BFG A/T 32x11.5 i have no road noise

 

hello all im hoping to get some help here. i want to get a similar set up to the one being talk about in this thread. i have a 2003 FX4 Ranger and want to get as much tire as i can without a body lift. i like the 32x11.5x15's also like the mt classic wheels but may try another wheel and would like to know what backspacing will work best. thanks for any help im really enjoying this site seeing some really tough looking rangers... here are the wheels im considering http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku its between these and the MT Classic II's

you know my opinion.

 

ahh nice choice with the dc-1's, they are sweet, IMO they look nicer than the MT2's but thats your call, with a fx4 you could fit 32's on 15x8's with the typical 3.75 BS(i could be wrong i always forget backspacing) and possibly a t-bar crank(if you dont know what that is, search.....)without a body lift thats prob as big as i would go or else your going to get some rubbing and all kinds of unwanted stuff happening......

 

i have 265/75R16 there equal to close to 31.6's i belive but i love mine for road use i have not tried them off road and in snow they seemed to work pretty well even tho it was only 3" :(

i also have no road noise i can go 85mph and just be cruseing with no radio on and no vibration or tire noise only my flowmaster. next tire i going to try 285"s thats 32.5 or.4 i think. only nois i here is coming to a stop for a qck seccond or doing a hard turn

 

i love my 35 BFG A/T's and Classic II's......i have ZERO road noise and they ride smooth as cotton..........even when my 33 BFG A/T's had a few miles on them, they had ZERO road noise......a BFG A/T or M/T is the only tire i will run on my truck as long as i can fit anything up to a 35" tire.............

people say "well i dont want them because everyone has them...." SO WHAT! everyone has them because they are a good tire and wheel.......people buy them because they have a SUPER repretation.....

 

yeah i think the dc-1's will look good but the backspace is listed at 3.65" i will crank the t-bar if needed also has anyone seen the canuck torsion key and arm kits on ebay anyone have any experience with them?

You should be fine with the 11.50" with the 3.65" backspacing. I ran the 33x 12.50x15 with just the torsion bars tightened with rubbing only on the back parts of the front flares. I just trimmed a little and that stopped all rubbing with the 33x12.50's. I think you should be fine with your setup since your running smaller.

Since I have had this setup for a while I have a couple questions...

1) What PSI should I have the tires at?
2) Will I need to do anything special now if I were to get a flat and had to put on the spare? In particular, jacking up the truck & getting the tire & rim off using the stock jack/tools.

 

TBarcia, Winks, and buckgnarly out here have wheeled the heck out of similar combinations. Certainly a great road tire and a capable and DURABLE offroad performer in most (though not all) situations.

I still prefer a siped mud terrain, but the AT KO's do go the distance, that's for sure.
