2004 ranger 2wd wheels??

I am wanting to put a set of the factory 16" ranger FX4 wheels on my truck..think they started in 04 i believe...not sure but my 2.3 2wd ranger is lowered with a 2/3 drop and i was wondering what tires anyone is running with these wheels? Any pics please? I also have a set of factory 99 cobra wheels off my cobra that are 17x8" that i can put on it as well...let me know. Thanks

Good luck finding some. I've searched for that exact set for a year and can't find any local, nor any other Ranger owners that don't wanna charge an arm and a leg for a set. FYI, they also make the same exact style in a 17 inch for Exploders, but good luck with those too.

Your 17x8 mustang rims should bolt right on but I believe you'll need a spacer in the front. maybe 10mm? Not sure on that. I was wondering for my truck as well. I'm not a big fan of spacers of any size so I might pass on the set of 17's I was looking at.

i like them but with a 2/3 drop and these wheels it doesnt really look lowered...my truck witha 2/3 drop looks alot lower with the stock wheels....i actually think it is lower than a 2/3 really.

actually my drop was 2/2 (springs/hanger flip with stock shocks) the 225/60/16's were a little shorter then the stock 225/70/15's so id didn't really look that much lowered
