?? about SSR's
I liked them when I had them.
1. They are hard to balance and very heavy.
2. With the soft compound you will only get about 20,000 to 30,000 miles using them on the street.
3. I had no traction issues with them in the rain and snow and I really liked them on the rocks.

SSR's are sick in the mud.
TSL's do way better.
You can't want an awesome offroad tire and awesome milage. I say just go with a TSL radial and call it a day. 36x12.5...you can find em somewhere.
SSR's are good, but they are just like any other 'mud-terrain'. Anything short of a TSL (three stage lug) bogger or radial is just like a bfg mud terrain on our trucks. WE don't have the power to spin them and clear them out.
But for your wheelin, I woudl say MT/R's would rock on that truck!

I meant as far as offroad, the ssr's are about as good as bfg's or mt/r's (except mud) and the 'mud terrains' last 2x as long.
In mud, you can't touch the SSR's with a 10 foot pole. They kick so much *** on our trucks because they don't 'dig' as bad as some others. BFG mud terrains plain suck in the mud, mt/r's, I won't go there because I haven't run them, but I've seen them run on a jeep....lets just say he didn't get far.
