Icon4 alignment question

okay so im getting some 31x10.50x15 tires to replace the stockers i plan to put these on the stock rims for a little while untill i can afford some procomp wheels. Now im going to do a torsion crank to level out the truck and give the 31's a bit more clearance, and with the crank, im gonna take my truck into the shop to get a alignment.

Now heres the question, once i get the new wheels, which will have 3.75" backspacing vs the stock 4.5", and put the 31's on, will i need to get a alignment again?

If your wondering why i dont just buy the wheels and tires at the same time, well im young, and rock minimum wage

if I may suggest - I live in florida so I know shop names are different, regardless, ask for alignment plans. I have 3 years unlimited alignments for 100$ when a single alignment cost 70....so it pays for itself in less than a month. I go in once a month and I plan on these tires lasting forever with proper rotation. Look for plans, so parts can be bought and installed whenever

and yes with new wheels you will have to get an alignment...not to point the wheels forward but to adjust camber which still falls under the title of alignment.

i just cant seem to wrap my head around it at the moment, but how does the backspacing change the camber? there only getting pushed out .75"

edit: okay i did some searching and figured it out, the amount the camber will change from bumping out the wheel .75" should be fairly minimum though. i'll take some camber and toe measurements when i get the new tires aligned on the stocker rims, and when i put on the new rims if any of the numbers have changed too much, ill just get it re-aligned

whenever you change anything with the steering/drivetrain its always smart to align the truck. especially when dealing with rims and tires. nothing is more vital.
