Just wondering if anyone has cut out their center caps on their stock wheels so they can get to the AVM hubs .I just put mine on and have been running around without the caps but wanted to see a pic if anyone has done this before I cut mine up.

I've started, but ever finished. That's one of the projects to finish after I finish repairing the Bike. That and the new 2.8 for my '84. I'll post pics of the caps when I finish with them.

 

i dont think they will look good, i just kept mine off for the time being till i get my new wheels maybe, i dont think the hub will stick out far enough and will end up looking just odd......

 

It dont matter now anyway seeing how my passenger side one fell off this weekend on my way home from work somewhere! It did not snap on as tight as the other one from the begining but I thought the rim would hold it on....I was wrong.109.00 down the drain!

 

109 for a center cap??? good lord, i can get them all day long at the junk yard for like a dollar, if i actually pay for them.....

 

I think he means the AVM.

That really sucks.
