I believe the stock backspacing is 4.0. The lower the number the more your tire will stick out. Here's a site that will answer most of your questions. Click

you don't want to run that little of backspacing....that will put too much strain on your suspension componets......

3.75" backspacing should be the lowest you go......

the stock backspacing is 4.5".....

stock back spacing is 4.5... i have 2 1/4" spacers on each side right now... so that would take me down to 4".. and i have about 1/4" of clearance between my steering on the spindle and the rim/tire.. 3.75 BS would give me about 1/2" clearance correct?

if you have 2.25 spacers on your truck now, then your tires stick out pretty far as the are......

your spindle lift company should be able to tell you what the minimum backspacing is for the spindles...

run a 15x8 in 3.3125 which is 3-5/16 like most aluminum 15x8s, like the Mickey Thompson Classic II

Somewhere between 3.3125 and 3.75 should work.

I had the Chambers and if you do any mud, they blow. Unless you clean them everytime you go out you get major build up of mud. The only reason i got them was because of the Teflon Coating. Works like a charm.

I'm running 3.3125 backspacing and I'm not having any problems at all. With 15x8s the stick out even with the fender flares on my EDGE.
