Baja Claws or Baja MTZ's
Baja Claws or Baja MTZ's
I am going to be getting new tires. I hope to be getting them in about a week. I had my heart set on the Baja Claws for the longest time,But now I am thinking of getting the MTZ's insted. I was just wondering your guys oppinion. Hopefully from the guys that have ran these befor. I drive mostly on road with going to school and back and to work. Althoe I do a alot of off roading as well. What do you guys think will perform the best over all?
I have the MTZ's. OUTSTANDING if you have to daily drive your vehicle, I must say. I'll NEVER, EVER put unsiped tires on a daily driver again.
Either tire is great. But the MTZ's have really made me happy. I use them in Wharton mud successfully, and they keep me from feeling scared to drive in the rain, lol.

what about the General Grabbers AT2 they are very good tires (very good in snow) and mud they are ok too. very cheap, i bought mine which are 31x10.50x15's for $105 per tire brand new. so i think i saved some money and not to mention they last a long time. they basically look like the BFG A/T same tread pattern almost. Look them up, you might be surprised.
I'm at a place with regard to mud where I don't consider them "good" in mud at all, lol. Even the BFG's pack up bad in some of the mud I go in.
Still, I've seen those tires and they are a nice "rugged" AT style tire.

Well I have a set of Bfg A/T.(witch by the way are for sale) They are great tires for the road. But I think that is about it. I have gone wheeling a hole lot with the AT's and they Really Pack up the mud. They turn into big racing slicks.. I really want to stick to the M/T.
yeah honeslty i havent gone in deep deep mud but i have some ruts in my yard and it did just fine, just dont go in a lot of mud lol. i can say that they work extremely good in the snow (the grabbers) i can hear it grab every snowflake on the ground its great.

i feel the same way about mine! i've got 33x12.50 MTZ's. and if any of you keep up with national weather wichita kansas, which is where i am, has gotten quite a bit of snow, and i have yet to have any problems. They handle like a dream in most all terrains that you encounter and are super smooth on the highway!
They also respond to low psi's real well. I ran mine down to 12 in the front and 10 in the rear and they worked great in the sand and mud at the local wheeling spot!
MTZ's are also a little cheaper than the Claw's...i got mine for 153 a piece.
