best at or mt tire for highway

i need help on deciding which tire to buy. iwant a very aggressive look, but the problem is i drive on the highway 50 miles a day 5 times a week. my truck has those stupid a$$ g/y rts's on it and it dont even look like a 4x4 truck. ive narrowed my choices down to bfg's m/t, mickey thompson baja atz specialty tread, bfg's a/t. now i know the a/t's will be better on the mileage. how many miles could i expect driving that much on the highwayw/ the m/t's or the atz's the bfg a/t are my third choice right now.

BFG A/T KO......you can get upwards of 60,000 miles out of them if you take care of them.......

Stay away from the BFG M/T's.....the A/T's are quiet and have a great tread wear life. Plus they handle well in rain/snow/mud/sand...mainly it's the lack of hydroplaning and snow rated that sold me.

I have owned a few sets of the years, but I have found other tires perform just as well w/o the cost. IMO. I think it's funny they seem to have a corner on the market so to speak.

any mud terrain is gonna suck on the road when its raining.... bfg is one of the best mud terrains to run on the road. when they are properly rotated and balanced i have seen them on f250s with 50k miles on them and still plenty of tread life left...

and whoever said they are loud is full of crap..

but for just road driving....bfg AT KO's all the way. look great, handle great, great mileage....and will even perform offroad when you need em too

Generals/Nitto/Firestone. I'm not going to get into a posting price contest. On average BFG's are a priced higher than other tires. Sometimes not more than $20.

when i first started looking for my 32's it was over 650 easy for a set.. you have to SEARCH FOR GOOD PRICES... key thing.. have a company match it as i did from summit.. and vola BFG for the price of peoples beloved general grabber atbbbsdfgksd/2's

edit see here is the thing.. i dont like knock off.. like the grabber things.. see there copying something the BFG.. that means well if its being copied here is an idea.. the original is GOOOD... what a thought.. so instead i'll stick with the original... hell if i liked buying knock off's i would be driving an S10 right now.. not a ranger

2nd edit... NITTO since when has NITTO been cheap??!?!?!?! for god sakes.. if i could get NITTO at the price of BFG i would be owning them right now...

3rd edit... personally owned 2 sets of Firestone tires... never again ever... worst things i ever had...

Fair enough. But I would not refer to general as 'beloved' that word should only be used for BFG tires.

Edit fixed. That's what I get for having 3 working tabs open. Ok, now c'mon way more folks go BFG's than any other tire. But I guess that would be another topic. On that note what the hell was this thread about??

If you want Nitto's shop around. You can find them for a good price.

Lots of tires in 16's. I know your not a fan of the 16 inch wheels. But I have a set collecting dust if you ever want to come over to the dark side. AND they would look great on a silver truck!
