i talked to my friends mom that works for Ford and she said that cranking the T-bar is messing with the suspensoin and voids it...

can i fit the 285s with just straight fitting...and some trimming?

i saw a ranger Downtown tonight it was a XLT 4x4 on 265s straight..and it was freckin sweet now i cant wait

cranking the torsion bars is an adjustment in the STOCK suspension it will not void it hell theres members here that has had the dealer crank then FOR them. also a dealer cant completely tell if you cranked it or not...plus playing dumb is the best thing

Remember....Dealerships CANNOT just void your warranty just because you did something...So if your in there for an oil change, and they see that you have larger tires on..They CANNOT void your warranty......Federal Laws Prevent this. Assuming that there is a problem down the road...The Dealership must PROVE that what you did caused the problem. Most dealerships wont go this road with you (unless it's like major engine failure or something)...Just for your information...

ABOUT this high>>>>>>>>

245x75x16=30.47x9.6x16

285x75x16=32.83x11.22x16

32.83-30.47=2.36/2=1.18in that much higher. not counting the t-bar crank
