vs.

Continental Sportiva 31x10.50 = ??? they dont have any prices anywhere...not even on the continental website

BFGoodrich AllTerrain 31x10.50= $115

personally i'd go with the BFG's...they're tried and true, ton of members have them....they will most likely be the next tire i purchase....

I always check the surveys in TireRack to see how other people rate a tire.

Looks like that particular one hasn't been rated yet. I would wait, since you don't want to end up buying a tire with the crappy handling qualities of something like the GoodYear RT/S.

Side lugs don't look as agressive and they're useful sometimes.

Make sure you compare equivalent prices. You'll never get any tire over the internet for the money quoted. By the time you pay shipping and mounting they're a LOT more expensive. Make sure you either compare "raw" internet quotes to other internet quotes, or quotes from stores to quotes from stores, and not internet to store.

unless u can find a good deal somewhere...i know 4wheelparts.com runs sales from time to time and offer free shipping if you buy 4 tires at once, that type deal. i got quoted at a local tire/rim shop at $72 a tire for 32x11.50x15 tires...i forget the name of them....basically it was one of those "we look exactly like a goodyear mt/r tire without "goodyear" written on the side" tires for a lot less....
