Cragar 342 Series

So Ive been trying to decide what rims I want to buy and I think I have finally settled on these

Before I order them I wanted to double check here that I have this correct...

342 Series Steel Wheel
Size: 15'' x 8''
Bolt Circle: 5 x 4-1/2''
Rear Spacing: 4''

Id go 15x10 but they are on back order. I also plan on running a 33x12.5 in. tire (hopefully BFG Mud Terrain)

Im thinking with a T-bar crank I should be able to get away with this on my ranger. What do you guys think?

Also this is going on an '04 Edge 2wd.

I found them through Jegs at a little over 210 shipped, anyone else recommend somewhere to try and buy them from?

very nice wheel, i believe most people go with a 3-3/4 back spacing but your running a wider tire so it should be ok, your probably going to rub a little and ride quality is gonna suffer with cranked t-bars

If they were 15x8, then yes... thanks though!

And as for ride quality, its a truck, if I wanted a car that felt like it rode on air, I would have bought one.

I'd even suggest getting something else....i've had 15x8 w/ 4" backspace US Wheel Daytona's....found them cheaper than the cragers. And they only have a red stripe...

The 15x10's w/ 4" backspace are not on back order if you go with procomp xtreme steel's...AND no stripes...

And yes....a few people have put on 33x12.50s on an otherwise stock cranked bar truck.

What look are you going for? Sticking out or kinda sucked in? 12.50's? 12.50's?

All the 98+ 4x4 trucks that i've seen that are just cranked bars that are rockin' 33x12.50's, have 15x10 w/ approx 4" or 3.625" backspace. If you wheel it with those...expect ripped off flares and trimming of the valence is required.

I would kind of like them to stick out a little bit and I really dont mind trimming for DDing. I dont do any wheeling, but I might in the future if I ever find some people to go out with and a spot...

Im thinking Im just going to go with 15x8, 4" BS and 33x12.5 and I should be happy. Thanks for the picture of the daytonas too!

I like the soft 8s... but I really wanted a red lip since my truck is red and I have a red/black look that I eventually want to go for. I dont mind the D window look so it works for me.

So somehow I guess they decided to redesign the wheel to match the cragars, because they had a blue and red lip, but no worries, I am having them powdercoated gloss red and I can't wait to see how they come out!

I should have pics up when I get them back in a week.
