Steel Wheels. Not as bad as everyone says?
Well im repainting my stock wheels and ive been running my friends wheels and tirs from his cherokee, they are 31 10.5 baja claws on 15 in. soft 8s and i didnt feel any difference between those and my 265 duratracs on the stock aluminum wheels. A lot of people on here say that steel wheels are really bad and i feel like that might not be the case. Any input on this?

im pretty sure he's referring to the steel wheels weighing more then aluminum and thus causes loss of mpg and power when you go up higher in tire sizes like a 35 on an aluminum wheel may weigh 100 lbs compared to a steel wheel at 115 lbs, so in retrospect you could run a 115 37 combo on an aluminum wheel and have the same power as the 35 on a steel wheel
