Backspacing
Ok im thinking about getting some new rims because im getting tired of the factory ones. As I am looking at new rims I keep on seeing backspacing; what is that?

Distance from the innermost rim edge to the mounting surface of the wheel. Factory Ranger 7" wheels have 4.5" backspacing. Most aftermarket wheels have less, pushing the wheels farther out with respect to the fender.
