Load range E's?

Load range E's?
So I have an opertunity to get some brand new, never mounted mud grapplers for my truck but they are a load range E. They are a 35x12.5 r17. So there's a decent amount of sidewall but obv I'm concerned that they would ride like hell. Anyone else have any experience running a load E on our trucks? I've got D's on my truck now and am running them about 25pound up front and 18psi rear to make them ride like a load C. The D's side wall still flexes fine over the rocks just not sure how big a change the E's would be. Any imput or experiences would be nice to hear. Thanks.

It's a really good deal for the tires. A friend works for a tire shop and got them on a promotional deal. Paid way less than cost on them and is going to sell them for cost. The only catch is I will have to go to a 17" wheel also, which I want to do anyways but that's where the costly part Is gonna come in. I'm kinda torn. If they were a C or D I'd be all over them but the E part is scaring me haha.

My duras are E load. It rides a little rough but since I'm cranked and AAL I don't notice it. The psi on the tire says 60, I ran 35 all around till my last rotation. Then the tire guys changed it to 30 up front, 25 rear. I noticed a 1mpg drop and am going back to 35 f/b.
Keep in mind they won't air down as much. Last year when I aired down to 15 and it didn't look like it. I'm assuming this has to do with more belts.
I did notice some steps or rotational cupping and since rotated that has gone away.

I'm sure my friend would let me test them out but as far as the tire shop is concerned if he sells them to someone and makes a profit, he's fired. It would be a inconvenience to have to pull them off and store them again if I don't like them
Morris - running them at 35 psi didn't rattle your teeth over bumps? I've got more weight up front from the sas but 35psi in my D's were pretty rough. I might try the "trial run" route if ,y friend okays it lol

There's a rattle but like I said idk if it's from the crank and AAL or if it's from running a tire meant for a 8k lb truck. I just accept it for what it is.
I've had my uncle drive on the highway and he was like "wtf... All over the road....blah blah blah..." my stepdad has ridden shotgun and commented that it's a stiff ride. The GF only makes comments when I hit a large bump.

E's are good for the rocks since the sidewalls are super strong. Downside obviously is ride on the road and having to air out to around 6-8psi before the sidewalls begin to flex like a c range at 15psi on the rocks.
The extra durability and puncture resistance is great though offroad if you can live with a slightly more rough of a ride versus your D ranges.....in my mind that means just let more air out for around town driving
