site taking forever to load/partial load

ive noticed in the last couple days that the site doesn't load all the icons for threads or for posts. the icon for loading also takes forever. right now in the message box, the two tool bars where font/boldness/colour/pictures and smileys have text, not icons.

is anyone else experiencing this?

I haven't noticed this either.

Have you tried the basic stuff like restarting, and clearing the cache and cookies?

Which version of Firefox are you running? Firefox is pretty good about automatically updating, but Firefox 4 beta is available if you want to try it out.

Do you have any mods or themes installed? In my experience modding Firefox is kind of like modding your Ranger.....after you do it it never works like it used to lol.

You can move all the firefox buttons wherever you want by right clicking the toolbar area and going to customize. While the customize box is open drag it out of the way and drag the refresh/stop/home buttons wherever you want them.

As for the original issue, I know of one other thing you can check before I'm out of ideas. Right click a blank area of the page go to View page info>media and make sure the 'block images from' box is not checked for some reason.

I read about the amazon technical problems.

I didn't think that it would affect RF.

I havnt noticed any problems, except once in a while, but no biggy.
