General Grabber AT2

There is a Discount Tires up the street from my house that has recently gotten these in. I was looking for them last fall and no one had them. Discount has them listed as an out the door price of $685. (stock size)

Has anyone had these tires ? Are they decent ?

Before I started using Primewell tires due to cashflow shortage, I used Firestone Destination AT's, currently Firestone has them for $625 out the door.

I can remember not being too happy with the Destination AT's, it seems like I remember having to replace them after a year for broken belts.

Which one is a better tire ? Are there any others out there for the same price that are better ?

The Grabber AT2 is the same at the BFG TA/KO. But much cheaper i had a set of 265/70-16 and i got 65k on them and they still had about 15-20k left in them. Great tire I recommend them ALL the time!

If anyone could voice their opinions in the next 10 minutes, I need advice on some tires...

Discount said they can't get the Grabber tires for over a month because the closest factory that has them is in Dayton, Ohio and they're back ordered. He said no tire place in Texas has them.

I got a quote from a guy at Firestone that quoted me Bridgestone Dueler 695 AT's for $580 + tax (normal price is over $200/tire he said) He said business is really slow and he'd cut me a deal.

My other option at this time are some Cooper Discoverer ATR Tires that Discount said they'd give me for those for $597 out the door..

Which one is better ?

I only asked for quick replies because they said I have to "order" them by 2pm cst or they wouldn't be able to get them and I'm going out of town in a couple days.

Thanks

I also have a quote for 235/75 15 Destination M/T's but they said they seriously don't recommend them for a 2.3L 2wd Ranger.

Really you cant go wrong with either tire. Both are very good tires.

I went with the Dueler 695 AT's and man, I love them so far, I stopped at a light level with an F-150.

I'll try to post a picture tomorrow when it's light.

Thanks for your replies !
