Alright well I've decided to go with the Pro Comp 1079 15x8 wheels. Now I need to decide on tires. I have narrowed it down. I am going with a 32x11.50x15 tire
All the tires are relatively the same price.

BFG AT ( 10 bucks less/tire so no huge savings)



BFG MT



Hankook Dynapro MT




I haven't heard too much on the Dynapro's. Feel free to share your tire life. but be realistic, don't exaggerate. There are tons of people that give unrealistic numbers about there tires. For eg. "I got like 100k miles on my MT's". Let me know what tire you like a why.

 

do you want longer tire life or better offroad manners?

 

What kind of terrain are you usually on when you're offroad? I like the goodyears but heard they're not good in mud. I'd have to vote for BFG MT.

 

I love my dynapro mts. They didnt hurt my wallet, pull great, great side lugs, and are wearing great.

 

None of those. Cooper Discoverer STT, they are a road friendly MT tire.

 

Goodyear tires....Good for a Year and no longer......

 

I am interested in longer life but want something that clears well. I use my truck off-road while hunting or fishing and things can get quite hairy... Deep snow is quite a concern as I ice fish. I don't go through massive amounts of mud.

 

Get something with siping. which none of those tires have except the BFG AT, but I wouldnt go with them. I liked my xterrains better then my BFG AT's and I hated my Xterrains.

 

my dad has BFG AT on his f-150 he seems to like them its the second time that i know of that he has bought them. they work great for him in the middle of winter when he goes to your cabin that's all ice and when we go up in the spring in the mud. he mainly drives all city and high way to so he goes all different places lol but yeah he recommends them.

BFG M/T's work great on and off the road

 

I have heard from people that the BFG Mud Terrains wear out fast if you drive a lot on the pavement. So how much off roading are you going to do?

 

not as much as some.... I don't go strictly off-roading. It just happens sometimes I have to go offroad to get to where I am going... if you know what I mean.
