Can't say. I'm pretty sure the XLT 4x4's and even the FX4 (non-LII) are on 16" wheels and metric size tires though. The LII (and '02 FX4) wears 15" wheels w/ 31x10.5 rubber. .. Either way, the difference is very small. Like Leo said, maybe 1". I have seen FX4's and LII's parked side-by-each and there's very little difference in ride hight..

Alternate site url..

Stock tire sizes for 2004 4x4 Rangers are as follows:
  • XLT, EDGE, TREMOR & FX4 = P245/75R x 16
  • FX4 Level II = 31/10.5x15

According to the Raingler metric trire conversion calculator that makes it a 30.5 x 9.6 inch tire...... :p

thats correct, but I think 245/75r16 is a tad larger than 30.5.

Ive obtained the formula for the aspect ratios of metric tires and did it by hand and it came out 30.8 or something near.

either way its hardly noticeable.

EDIT: but to me, heaight of a tire isnt everything. width makes a HUGE difference in the look of the size of the tire and traction.
