I have never done it on my ranger but I did it in the parking lot on my 92 Bonneville, it was really easy.......... I am sure others will be along soon with more info...

be sure and bleed the master BEFORE you bolt it into the truck or there will be air trapped in it. fill the reservior and things FIRST and work all the air out of it, then bolt it into the truck.

installing new master cylinder on my 94

I've read a few reviews on Amazon and a few other pages about prefilled and pre-bled master cylinder assemblies and the price difference is outrageous. my question is; is it worth spending the money or should I just buy a standard master cylinder? I keep reading it's a nightmare trying to get all the air out of the new one versus the prefilled assembly being a breeze but that 106 dollar price tag is a big deterrent. Any body got a few words of wisdom for me. I've never done any clutch work, especially changing out the master cylinder in particular. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
