thinking of getting a old set of stock alloy rims to run in winter, kinda wanting the gen1/2 set with the 10 holes. any ideas what a junkyard would sell a set of 4 for ? my jeep winter rims need tires and im kinda tired of the look of that set of rims, but dont want to run my stock deer-paw alloys year round, they still look darn good for their age, possibly because ive never ran them in the salt.

I'd look for an older set for cheap with messed up coating / paint but straight. Should be able to pick them up for a great price and then paint a good result.

That's what I did... picked up a set like that to use as my winter rims. I paid great price because they in bad shape... I cleaned them up and painted with Duplicolor Graphite wheel paint and clear.




I'm really happy with the results and how they look on the truck. I get quite a few comments on them which is cool for what started out as rims in really bad shape.
