So I needed some new tires and decided on the Yokohama geolander a/t-s. Everything from them was on national back-order with no production date specified and the only tire that would fit my truck was a 30x9.5x15. Got the tire last Friday and honestly they're awesome, great on dry and wet pavement and i have no doubt they'll do great in the snow. My problem is that because its a bigger tire my little 4 banger is a dog going up hill (and living in the seattle area, hills are a daily occurrence)

So i went back to where i bought the tires to see if i couldn't get something in my stock size. Everything they looked at was on back order with the exception of the Continental ContiCrossContact LX, and I'd have to pay an extra 150$ + tax to get an inferior tire ... Oh well looks like i'll be downshifting up hills from now on.
