they do come into contact a little with that loose rubber stuff (splash guard?) on the engine side of the wheel well but thats only just before the steering locks up anyway. no issue really.

That's what I was thinking. You can't compare a Mud tire to an All-Terrain. You should be looking at Goodyear Duratracs and BFG All-Terrain T/As. OR You should be looking at BFG Mud Terrain KM2s or Goodyear Wrangler MT/R.

Don't count out the General Grabbers to. It seems like EVERYONE on here that has switched from any Goodyear or BFG tire FRIKIN' LOVES those General Grabbers.

EDIT: Just read the rest of the thread. Glad to here you wen with Duratracs. Best A/T on the market. Hands down.

I am in the process of trying to control some wheel bouce I have on bumps and cutting the spring rate in the front but the low pressure I am running in the front is wearing the tire prematurely and that $ucks too.
Have you thought about traction bars?

Went to my local Goodyear the other day and they told me the Duratracs are out of production till January. After January they werent sure if they'd make enough to sell to backordered shops.

I've been running 265/75's for over 4 years and have zero problems. Those Duratracs would fit just fine without the 1" body lift. I am considering doing a tbar crank and 1" BL for 285's. But that's just my two cents.

I'll go to other shops when I get time. I could run my 32 chromies all year. Need new rims anyway
