need help fast!!!!!!
Alrite i have 33x12.50 on stock rims which are 7 inch wide and they look good but sway all over the road and the tire store messed up giving them to me anyways since they need a 8.5 inch rim. so they are willing to swap them out for 33x10.50 ats or mts. will these tires work a lot better with my rim. i do not want to buy new rims right now. I am trying to lose the tire roll i get with the 12.50s which are not filled with enough rim and the center is wearing.(im running 36lbs to by the way if i go any lower the handling is real bad.) thanks!
They will handle a tab better and not wear as bad. The rule of thumb is 4" wider tire on a wheel, but 32/11.50 looks great on a stock wheel and wear fine, as does a 33/12.50 on an 8" wheel. So I guess 4.5" is the max width, wider than the wheel you would want to put on. Amazing what a difference that inch or so makes.
