OEM Caps wont fit

Icon5 OEM Caps wont fit

How come my OEM caps wont fit on my OEM lugs of my 04 Ranger. I just got my Cragars Soft 8's on and these caps wont snap on to my lugs

i ran that set up for over 5 years

you have the snap lugs right?

They need to be on the truck...they snap on pretty hardcore. There will be about a 3/8" gap between the rim and the center cap...but you wont notice that. I continue to run that set up.


You running the factory goldish colored lugs?

What were your factory wheels? I know the Fx4 and the 16" 5spokes lugs and wheels aren't meant to accept the centercap.

you sure i had those rims and then i switched to them and it worked fine.

Ahh... where should I get them? I wasnt able to find them at the JY I bought the caps at.

Auto store.

Edit. Ebay anywhere they are not that tuff to find.

junkyards i gaurentee you have thousands of them fordirt cheap. theycame on explorers, rangers, b2's, crown vic's, taurus, etc..blahblha. almost every fordproduct got these lugs.

I got mine on and i have the snap lugs but the caps aren't even snapped onto the lugs.....hehehehehehe!!!

So I put my softs 8's on today those 32's are killing my gas but I guess thats why I bought the Civic... I went to Napa and got the lugs it came to like $24 after taxes for all 20 and from the dealership it would have been $5 a lug.

32's killing gas? thats almost the stupidest thing i've ever heard! i got my best mpg numbers with 32's....average of 17.5
