Painted my stock wheels black

Well (2) of my aftermarket covers have flown off driving down the road.

I bought some replacement ones off Ebay from a different seller and those had more clips, and so far they are staying tight to the wheels.

Ugh, I think I just need to put in 8 hours of elbow grease and scrap the adhesive off my wheels, and paint them black per the original plan.

My chrome skin lasted 1 DAY - looked great until I washed it, and then the "chrome" started turning grey. Oh, and the clips scratched up my perfect black "spare" wheel so I had to paint and clearcoat it. Have a second wheel scrapped, painted, clearcoated, and just waiting to finish the other two.
