I need center caps and the chrome trim rings for my 2001 ranger work truck. The boss got it at auction and told me to find these - and a spare tire. I don't know what size {depth wise} the rings are or what the center cap looks like. Any suggestions?

 

Without knowing what the wheels look like we really can't help you out. And I don't have any idea what you mean by chrome trim ring? Is it for the wheel?

If you want to get chrome centercaps, you can get the regular Ford ones from a dealership or from some other car parts websites if you've got time. The Ford ones will just snap onto the lug nuts so they'll work with pretty much any wheel.

 

The wheels are the basic metal rim just like the spare tire. I am looking for any basic center cap that would snap over the lugs {dealersip here wants way too much $$$}

The trim ring attaches around the peremeter of the wheel along the edge where the valve stem is. It covers the wheel weights and inside lip.

ebay..i believe any center cap for a ranger should fit due to the 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern.

There were chrome rings on it at auction and they went missing when the truck was delivered.

 

jus cause they didnt come from the factory doesnt mean no trim ring will fit. problem is findin some that have the proper depth and finger to attach them to the rims.

unless you can find someone with a specific application for ranger wheels, its gonna be trial and error from the local hubcap shop.

Yes and no - they are in the post office and I cannot pick them up until Tuesday because of MLK day

 

ahah sorry man crazy mailmen need MLK off but gald to hear they mad it there if any thing is wrong with them let me know.

 

Well the truck is locked up in the repair shop until Monday anyway so I would not have been able to put them on anyway.

If you know if anyone who needs a factory radio {no CD or cassette} let me know. I have one real cheap. I will even throw in the radio installation/removal tool handcrafted from BBQ rib racks.
