I got bored so I decided to powdercoat my rims at work today. My rims were already black and I see about 20 rangers with black rims everyday so I decided to do them red, and I just wanted to see something different.

My buddy did that to his old red Nissan truck........thing looked like a fore truck. Really not my cup of tea, but hey, "to each their own".

Should have painted them that smoke grey colour.

 

I say Different, You did a good job on the Powder coating. but I don't I am a fan.

I likes it, flows well with the rear window decal, maybe get a red emblem on the grille

i think it looks awesome. makes it retro and i love that style! im not usually for stuff just because everyone else is doing it.

I was gonna do them another color but I would have had to order the powdercoat and I didnt feel like waiting. I think im gonna buy a billet grill and powdercoat it black but put some sort of red logo on it. Also I want to do something else red on the truck so if you have any ideas other than pin stripes(I just took mine off), and the emblems beacuse im buying new fenders and taking all them off anyways.

 

powdercoat your bumper red...maybe headlight mod with red too...red layover ford emblem for the tailgate...

I think they would look better if you left them black and have only a small strip (the lip) on red,

just my 2 cents...

what normally does it cost someone off the street to have their wheels powder coated? I wouldn't mind having my DC-1's powder coated....can you get clear powder coat?

 

& I thought black wheels were bad...
