Pro comp Rims 16X10''

Ok so i have been shoping around for rims alot and had a couple of set sold hours before i went to but the but I finally got a used set of rims I just need to get some rubber for them this weekend. They are black pro comp alloys and i was thinking of running 265/75r16x10"

SO is anyone running this setup on a stock truck i kinda wanted a preview of what it would look like before i install them (265/75r16X10'') pics welcome :)

265? that sounds too narrow for a 10" wide

Agreed w/ korey. That is gonna be stretched and you run the risk of blowing a bead if you air down.

Yeah a 285 would be better, cause it will be an inch wider tread than a 265. Or even a 305/70/16 would prob be the best with a 16x10 wheel. But to fit that tire, a lift would be needed.

Well i got some 265/70 and im gonna run them for now i think that 265 is the smallest you can run on that rim i will try to post some pics if i can find this USB cord.

265 is too skinny for a 10" wide wheel. They belong on a stock wheel or an 8" wide at the most

Iv got some 10.5s and a 285 fills em out great. I can lay the wheel down on its side and not hit the rim if you know what I mean. But you will DEFINITLY need some spacers up front unless theyre backspaced like crazy. I put some 1.25 spacers on mine and its still close.

Try getting a photobucket or car domain account, upload the pics to there, then copy the img code from the pics, then paste here. That might work, cause that's I put photos on here.

I'm not gonna lie I like that look! I would just be worried about the width of the wheel and smaller tire. But I hope they work out well for ya man.

Yea, them rims dont look too bad. Iv seen some rattle canned black before... I feel like slapping people like that lol.
Id go with a 285. That way your tire sticks out further than your rim. Im not a pro, but from what iv seen and trying to picture it, a wider tire is always better, and you shouldnt have rubbing issues with a 285

Thanks I defiantly will with the next set of tires. But I checked with the guys at kost and they said as long as im not running a low tire pressure like 20 psi i should be ok. The tire does stick out past the rims but i know what you mean with the tread

Yea that could be bad lol. Pop your seal off then your pushing it home lol. Either way, I'm sure it'll look great on your truck. The only time you really need to get super in depth with tread width and all that is if your planning on doing some hardcore articulating such as rock crawling or driving fast off road lol. For a dd like mine, it doesn't really bother me that my fronts stick out past my fender. Just something u gotta keep in mind before crossing a deep ditch or something
