Pro Comps....?

I got to snooping around online looking for an aggressive tire i found pro comps buy 3 get 1 free...I got a buddy who had the X Terrains on his truck and they wore out fast (granted im not looking for longevity of the tire i drive 20 miles a day)...anyhow, a kid i know in town has the mud terrains on a 2500HD and likes them, wearing good etc.

Long story longer, Anyone have, or know anyone with the XTreme Mud Terrains?? They look pretty sweet, just havnt seen them...

Thanks - Josh

they jack up the price of the first three to make up for the 'free' one.

the new xtreme mud terrains are a nice tire. spin very well, and are a nice quiet tire. preform like most other mud terrains do, since their tread design is not much different than the other.

the regular mud terrain will wear a lil faster than a bfg mud terrain because they are softer. which is good for traction, but a lil sacrifice in tread life. on a ranger you should be able to get 40k easy out of either tire.

^so does the BFG A/T.....BFG guarantees 50,000 miles out of the A/T IF you take care of them (ie:rotation and inflation along with proper alignment)

From: Coal Region, MTC to be exact...heart of the coal region.
so does procomp, big deal.

the ATs on sarahs truck are doing very well for wear. they have roughly 25,000 and are about half worn. that is with a lot of horsing around (spinning the tires in the snow/rain, small burnouts, general goofing around).

the mts i have on my 93 f150 are great. the wear problem i had was my fault.

im looking at the Xtreme mts for my 88 F350. i can kick myself because at the carlisle all truck nats i could have gotten them for real cheap (315/75/16 size). now i have to wait...dam.
