Question on Rim sizes

I have an 02 Ranger Edge with 16" wheels, I am looking for a set of rims to mount snow tires on for the winter (haven't gotten the tires yet). Someone is selling Ranger 15" rims from a 2X4. My question is, will 15 inch Ranger rims fit on my truck?
Also, there are a lot of Expedition, F150 and Explorer 16" rims for sale, does anyone know if these would fit as far as bolt pattern and offset?
Thanks

the 150/expeditions' won't fit. it's a different bolt pattern.

the 15s might work, but i dunno if the wheel would clear the brakes.

If factory Ford wheels....definately it'll fit. BUT....some aftermarket 15's won't fit due to caliper clearence. Having said that....I've hadd a grand total of 5 different sets of 15" aftermarkets on my truck(we have the same brakes) and have had no issues what so ever. there's a 1/16" clearence between the caliper and the inside of the wheels that i've used.

Explorer 16's should fit no issues. Ranger 15's should fit as well....bring a jack and tools and find out when you go look at 'em. 150/expid won't...different bolt pattern. Also heads up...most anything listed as 'took them off my jeep' or whatever.....most jeep bolt patterns are the same as rangers.

ok...if we wanna get specific....06 and older wranglers(TJ and YJ), Cherokee(XJ), 1st and 2nd gen Grand Cherokee's. NOT wagoneers(5x5.5 or 6x6.5), NOT 07+ JK wrangers(5x5), NOT new grand's, and no clue on the liberty's. Backspacing on Jeep Factory wheels are the issue...but if they're aftermarket wheels, shouldn't be an issue on a ranger if the wheels came off a jeep.

lol. ok...

hahaha

i need some cheap 15s for both my bolt patterns so it fits on a uhaul trailer easier (i got some junk tires with decent tread, too bad i'm gonna smoke them off).. but junk yards want way too much for the junk spare wheels off 30 year old trucks.

Thanks folks,
Depending on the tire size, wouldn't 15" affect the speedo?
Right now, I am limited to only 16" wheels. I just purchased a set of Hankook snows from Pep Boys, 64.99 each plus rebate.
Someone is selling a set of Explorer rims, but I am not sure how they'll look on my truck. I guess I'll keep looking until someone is selling a decent set of 16" rims.
Thanks

just get bigger rubber to compensate and replace that missing inch of rim.

The overall tire size is what will effect the speedo. A size or two either way will not be enough to notice IMO. If a stock tire is 225/70-15 and you go to 235/70-15, there is not enough difference to notice (this is what I did).

the 35s didn't really mess my speedo up much, at "70" I'm really doing 76/77 and around town between 0-35 or so its dead on then it starts getting off a little
