hi all, i currently have 3.73 gears and am going to upgrade to 32" or 33" tires and am going to regear to 4.10's...to do this do i just have to buy a new ring and pinion set for my 7.5 axle...and would i just take that set to a shop and ask them to put it on for me?

 

Take it to a shop. But before you drop the dough on gears try your current setup with the new tires and see what you think. You might not want to regear. I wouldn't for 32's. 33's eeeeh... maybe

 

buy an 8.8 with 4.10's...it will be better
