bullitt mustang rims

I'm trying to put a set of aftermarket mustang bullitt rims on my 95 ranger. Backs went on fine but the fronts wont go over the hubs. any suggestions?

wow that's a close minded answer...

there isn't much you can do to make them fit, other than actually grinding out the hub area on the rims, you can take them to a machine shop who will do them for a fee... or you could get new rims... i think the clearance needed on the ranger hubs are 2.7" or somehting close to that

it was pretty snobby, sorry, I've heard that machining out the wheels to make them fit is a very bad idea.

It's easier and safer just to get wheels that fit properly

you're going to need to run a spacer, either 5/8 or 7/16 for them to fit

7/16 wheel spacers are what i used on my mazda. worked great, but you will have to deal with the dust cap pokin through.

I am a 2wd guy. For those of you who didn't really have anything important to say but "sell them", thanks for taking up space. You were about as useful as a poopy flavored lolly pop.

Thanks for the "real" responses guys. I actually went with a 5/16th spacer and it worked out perfect. I will have to do something about the hub. it doesn't look horrible so i'll probably just paint it.

most any parts store should sell them, just tell them your bolt pattern, and the thickness you want

You guys way over thought this one. Machining? New wheels? Just put some spacers in there. Damn it's not that hard.

I had to order spacers from online. No parts stores stocked them at all. All of the employees told me i'm stupid for running them and refuse to stock them or order them. Summit it was from there...Then i machined the inside so i didn't have to worry about running spacers anymore.

lol i have no issue at all with worrying about how sturdy spacers are. When my mazda got hit....my axle shaft broke...but my lugs and spacers....still in perfect condition. My wheel hit the curb HARD and theyre fine haha but the the rest of the truck isnt..
