Thanks for the comments.
I am guessing that I probably have about 25 hours into them start to finish. I stripped them with spray-on aircraft remover first, then used a 3M paint and rust removal wheel and some wire wheels in the drill. Once I had the oxidation off and the ridges taken down a bit, I finished the fine details with some 220 grit, then used a coat of self-etching primer and a coat of sandable primer. I did some light sanding, then did two coats of silver wheel paint and two coats of clear wheel paint. For the time I put into them, I'm very pleased. I would have preferred powdercoating, but this started out as a budget project, and that would have somewhat defeated the purpose. Including buying the rims, I only have $96 total into it.

I'm glad you didn't colormatch the whole wheel to the truck. IMO the DSG kind just looks like brake dust on wheels... I think another member had those wheels painted DSG, dunno if he still does, it was a white truck I think.
Got my tires on last night, and man are they stuffed in the wheel wells! LOL. I need to get my coilovers cranked up and put my shackles in!
I ended up going with Continental Extreme Winter Contacts. For the amount of highway driving I do, I think I'll like the tread better, and they should still do well in the snow. It was too dark when I got them on to get a good pic, but I'll try to get one this weekend.

There are no white letters to face out. They\'re asymmetrical, RBL. I agree, though, OWL would have been nice.
