I have an 08 fx4 with stock 255 70 R16's looking to replace the rubber within the next month but that particular size does not seem to be a regular stocked item.
What size can I go up to without causing rubbing or any other problems.

265/75R16 is my recommendation.

a little lift from tires never hurt!
