Stock Tire Question

Hiya Guys,

I know this has probably already been asked. But i have a 2008 Ford Ranger XL Standard with a 4cyl manual trannsmission. Im still running on the stock tires and im not sure of the tread life on them at this time. I went to my local discount tire as my account at les schawabs is being paid off right now from a previous vehicle and was looking at getting some All terrain tires. I was looking at getting the BFG AT KO's but im not sure that they are in my price range guy quoted me like 630 dollars total for the set up. He then directed me to some Yokohama tires im not sure which ones they are now. But i wanted to get some advise im not wanting to buy new rims just wanting to know what i can fit on the stock rim and the maximum tire size that will fit on the stock rim.

Thanks in advance,

you can fit up to a 31 10.50 stock (only on stock wheels) i personally wouldnt do it because it looks dumb. 31s and a body lift looks good though

Discount Tire told me that if i were to put that size tire on the stock rim it might rub the fenders.

I had 31 10.50 on my stock 2000 XLT 4x4 though it looked nice. Stupid me traded it for a 2001 VW Passat Money Eater (ARRRGGGHHHHHHHH) Dumb Move.
